Periodically, there are reports of checks having been stolen from the mail. In recent years, The Jerusalem Post reported that some stolen checks were cashed by money changers and some of the money went to terrorist groups in Jordan. Consequently, you should use secure envelopes (inside of envelop printed with a pattern) and give no indication on the outside of the envelope that it is anything other than a personal letter. Personal checks can be in any major world currency and should be

placed in a security envelope (an envelop having a printed design on the inside of the envelop, not a plain envelop that is white inside and allows the content to be seen using a lamp),
