Calculating גַּבְרִיאֵל's Code in Real Time

We must find how a Prophetic Time Unit (PTU) corresponds to a calendar year so we can determine on a calendar when to expect the prophesied בְּרִית (Dân•i•eil′  9.26) at the 1290 PTUs mark (Dân•i•eil′  12.11), when the 1335 PTUs mark will occur (Dân•i•eil′  12.12) and when the end of this 70^th Week—the קֵץ and the יוֹם of י--ה will occur (see chart).

Dân•i•eil′  7.25 defines 3½ prophetic years to run from 70 C.E. until the changing of the זִמְנִין and the דָת are no longer in the יָד of the "נָגִיד" presaged by Narcissus—גּוֹיִם Christianity. (Restoration of Biblical times and custom were restored only with the reemergence of the modern Jewish State of יִשְׂרָאֵל.) Dân•i•eil′  12.7 also defines the closing of this window "when the נַפֵּץ of the עַם-קֹדֶשׁ shall have been completed." The completion of the נַפֵּץ, viz., the הִתְכַּנֵּס, began in 1948 when יִשְׂרָאֵל again became a nation and the נַפֵּץ closed out and began to reverse. Perhaps 1967 is meant when יְרוּשָׁלַיִם again came under Israeli control. The official annexation of יְרוּשָׁלַיִם by יִשְׂרָאֵל and the declaration of יְרוּשָׁלַיִם as the capital of יִשְׂרָאֵל in 1980 is also viable, as is the reassertion of Israeli control over Har ha-Bay′ it—which has not occurred in actual practice as of this writing (or update). Notice that, in all but the last case, the 3½ prophetic years correspond to a defined number of actual years on the calendar, and may be calculated using elementary algebra. (In the last case, the equation remains indeterminate—"sealed.")

Determining half of this שָׁבוּעַ in actual years is straightforward arithmetic (מוֹעֵד). Dân•i•eil′  12.11 states 1260 PTUs equates to the period from 70 C.E. to the end of the נַפֵּץ of the יְהוּדִים (Dân•i•eil′  12.7). This נַפֵּץ began in 70.05 C.E. and was reversed in 1948.05 with the establishment of the State of יִשְׂרָאֵל, a finite period calculated by subtraction = 1878 years. We can then calculate the value in actual years of one PTU by dividing 1878 actual years by 1260 PTUs.

Does Dân•i•eil′  Imply a בֵּית הַמִּקדָשׁ הַשְׁלִישִׁי?

יְהוּדִים, Christians and Muslims alike have all assumed that the phrase זֶבַח וּמִנְחָה in Dân•i•eil′  9.27 must refer to sacrifices in the בֵּית הַמִּקדָשׁ. Because there has been no בֵּית הַמִּקדָשׁ and Miz•bei′ akh in the Christian era, their assumption requires the building of a Third בֵּית הַמִּקדָשׁ in which the נָגִיד may cause the זֶבַח וּמִנְחָה to cease. Furthermore, based on this assumption, this evil נָגִיד (whom Christians call the "antichrist"), since he is assumed to be officiating in a Third בֵּית הַמִּקדָשׁ, must be a יְהוּדִי—generating the misojudaic canard that the "antichrist" is a יְהוּדִי (and his followers, of course, must also be יְהוּדִים; ergo, the sloppy generalization that יְהוּדִים are servants of the "antichrist").

Analysis of Dân•i•eil′  27 demonstrates that the "sacrifices" cannot refer to the בֵּית הַמִּקדָשׁ and, therefore, none of these assumptions about a Third בֵּית הַמִּקדָשׁ are implied.

As Y^әsha•yâh′ u 28 corroborates, these assumptions have been wrong. There is a prophecy of a בֵּית-תְּפִלָּה for all עַמִּים (Y^әsha•yâh′ u 56.7) and a prophecy of Y^әkhëz•qeil′ 's spiritual בֵּית הַמִּקדָשׁ (the dimensions of which wouldn't even fit on Har ha-Bay′ it); but no prophecy of a physical Third בֵּית הַמִּקדָשׁ.

Dân•i•eil′  9.27

Dân•i•eil′  9.27 is a key verse that must be translated and understood precisely before the prophecy can be decoded.

There is a general consensus among commentators in both Judaism and Christianity that the base event, which we will call Event A, refers to the destruction of יְרוּשָׁלַיִם and the בֵּית הַמִּקדָשׁ הַשֵׁנִי by the Romans in 70 C.E. Thus, we define Event A as 70 C.E. and our first equation is

1. A = 70 C.E.

In the תּוֹרָה community of the first century C.E., the first half of Dân•i•eil′ 's "70^th Week" is characterized by the subjugation of בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל to the יָד of the נָגִיד; i.e., subjugation of בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל to gentile rule—which Christians call the "Age of the Gentiles." The reemergence of יִשְׂרָאֵל as a nation heralded the conclusion of the subjugation of בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל to gentile rule; the conclusion of the "Age of the Gentiles."

(A priori, it should be noted that, subsequent to 1948, we find ourselves in the latter half—also 1260 יָמִים—of the "70^th Week.")

Accordingly, let Y be the unknown duration from event A, marking the beginning of the first 1260 יָמִים to event B, concluding the first half of this "70^th Week."

The time period from event A to event B, then, is 1260Y; where Y is an unknown constant. Then

2.(B – A) = 1260Y and, alternately, 1260Y = (B – A).

We now designate C to be the timepoint of the הִגְבִּיר גֶּבֶר of the בְּרִית, which marks the end of 1290 "יָמִים" (Dân•i•eil′  12.11). The 1290 "יָמִים" time period from event A to event C = 1290Y, yielding

Now, if we only knew Y we would know the approximate year that this evil בְּרִית would be breached, identifying the breacher.

According to Dân•i•eil′  12.7, event B is the reversal of the "נַפֵּץ of the עַם-קֹדֶשׁ" which was reversed with the re-emergence of יִשְׂרָאֵל as a nation in 1948. This implies

4. (B – A) = 1948 C.E. – 70 C.E.

5.Therefore, (B – A) = 1878 actual years.

Substituting 1878 from equation 5 for (B – A) in equation 2 yields

6. 1260Y = 1878 actual years.

7.Therefore, Y = 1.4905 actual years

Calculating the Year of the Evil בְּרִית of Y^әsha•yâh′ u 28

The traditional interpretation has been of a בְּרִית to restore sacrifices and offerings marking the beginning of the 70^th Week, a בְּרִית that is broken after 3½ years. While 1260 PTUs corresponded to the period from 70 C.E. to 1948, 1290 PTUs was traditionally assumed to point to the קֵץ.

Rather, however, the הִגְבִּיר of this בְּרִית, during the "Seventieth Week of Dân•i•eil′ ," divides the 70^th Week into its two halves.

The cessation of זֶבַח וּמִנְחָה refers to the breach of contract concluding of the first half of the 70^th Week, not the breaking of a בְּרִית governing sacrifices and offerings in a rebuilt בֵּית הַמִּקדָשׁ.

According to the prophecies, a בֵּית-תְּפִלָּה for all עַמִּים (Y^әsha•yâh′ u 56.7) (not a ethereal בֵּית הַמִּקדָשׁ like that of Y^әkhëz•qeil′ ) will be built only at a much later time and after an eternal peace has been established.

This first half is straightforwardly corroborated as the period from 70 C.E. to 1948 in Dân•i•eil′  12.7. During the second half, "that which has been decreed shall be poured out on the שֹׁמֵם (עָם of the נָגִיד הִגְבִּיר גֶּבֶר)" (Dân•i•eil′  9.27)—"until the עֵת." The הִגְבִּיר of the בְּרִית occurs in the middle of this 70^th Week, signaling the beginning of the second half of the week. This midpoint of the 70^th Week I have designated as event C.

The הִגְבִּיר גֶּבֶר of the בְּרִית is the offspring Displacement Theology spawned by the Roman Empire and Christianity. According to Israeli polls, then, the majority of Israeli יְהוּדִים, in agreeing to one of these בְּרִית, may be making an historic and democratic decision unparalleled since the Golden Calf-mask.

The time from event A to event C, in other words C – A, is given as 1290Y from the earlier equation 3.

Substituting for Y from equation 7 back into equation 3 yields

8. 1290 * 1.4905 = (C – A)

Substituting 70 C.E. from equation 1 for A yields

9. 1290 * 1.4905 = C – 70 C.E.

10. 1923 = C – 70 C.E.

Solving for C, the הִגְבִּיר of the בְּרִית predicted by Dân•i•eil′  is then calculated to occur:

Which event is used as event B affects the calculation of C. Experiments will demonstrate that many of the potential candidates for event B have only a marginal effect upon the calculation of C. The קֵץ and יוֹם י--ה, is not fixable from this data with discrete precision. Yet, a general window can be framed about the expected time of Event C, the midpoint of the 70^th Week. Interpreting Event B alternately generates other calculations (see Table) that vary quite widely, from about 1992 through 3916 C.E. Since the methodology makes no pretense toward great precision the small difference in conversion back and forth from secular to Judaic calendars serves no practical purpose. The following examples demonstrate the variability built into these calculations:

The עֵת of the קֵץ (Dân•i•eil′  12.4) is a window beginning of the 1290 PTUs midpoint of the 70^th Week (Dân•i•eil′  12.11), "from the עֵת of the removal of הַתָּמִיד and הַשִׁקְוּץ מְשֹׁמֵם was permitted," in 70 C.E.

1290 PTUs x 1.4905 actual years ≅ 1923 years from 70 C.E.—1993. This defines 1993 as the beginning—marked by the making of a prophesied בְּרִית—of the "עֵת of the קֵץ."

To keep things difficult, 1993 was the year in which יִשְׂרָאֵל signed two major בְּרִיתוֹת: the Israeli-PLO peace בְּרִית (accord) and the בְּרִית with the Vatican establishing Israeli-Vatican relations.
