You may not know that the name "Palestine" is the result of the renaming of Judea to “Palestine” by Hadrian in 135 C.E. – to celebrate his ethnic cleansing of Jews from their ancestral homeland! The name “Palestine” is, thus, both anti-Biblical and miso-Judaic.
Philistines, after whom Palestine is named, were Greeks – not Arabs – who lived on the coast and never occupied Judea. Hadrian's anti-Biblical and miso-Judaic name of "Palestine" thus served, and continues to serve, as a miso-Judaic slap-in-the-face to Jews, reminding us of Hadrian's anti-Biblical and miso-Judaic conquering, ethnic cleansing and renaming of our Jewish homeland.
In modern times, Britain took the country from the Ottomans and, in Nov. 1917 reimposed Hadrian’s anti-Biblical, miso-Judaic rename of "Palestine."
Philistines were of Greek (Minoan and/or Mycenean) origin, predating the first Arab by many centuries. Today's Arabs have no historic connection whatsoever to ancient Philistines. Arabs simply moved in and squatted in the area that Hadrian had ethnically cleansed of Jews: Judea = "Palestine."
Arabs rejected the name “Palestinian” until 1967 – correctly identifying themselves as part of the "One Arab Nation".
Until the 10th century, Arabs even promulgated Hadrian's rename of Yᵊru•shâ•laꞋyim: Aelia. (Publius Aelia Hadrian renamed Yᵊru•shâ•laꞋyim to Aelia Capitolina, dedicating the city to his idol deity – Capitolina, when he renamed Yᵊhud•âhꞋ (corrupted in English, via Greek, to "Judea") to :Palestine".)
The US Postal Authority lists seven cities in the US named Palestine (though I didn't check for "New Palestine," "East Palestine," and similar variations; I just happened across one):
I suspect that few of the mayors or city councilors are aware of the Hadrianic miso-Judaic, anti-Israel and anti-Bible implications of their city's name. Therefore, I urge each of you to use your own words, rewriting and paraphrasing, to avoid in any way resembling a form letter, to snail-mail the mayor and city council, each, a hard-copy letter asking them how they could want to be associated with such a thing? If you can find the name and mailing address of a town newspaper, write them too. Ask them to rename their city, relegating the anti-Bible and miso-Judaic name to the dustbin of history. If they'd like to be faithful to what was probably the original intent of their city's founders, or consider themselves prob-Bible, perhaps a name like "New Judaea" (or "New Israel") would be appropriate?
Retaining the name of “Palestine” is a constant, deliberate, anti-Biblical / miso-Judaic commemoration of Hadrian’s ethnic cleansing of Jews from Judea.

“The reality is that there already is a Palestinian state. It is a country where 54% of the population, including the queen, is Palestinian. Fully half of this nation's parliament is made up of Palestinian lawmakers and its chambers of commerce report even a higher Palestinian membership. Of course I am talking about the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan whose capital, Amman, has more Palestinians than any other city in the world (with the exception of Detroit, maybe)” (The Jerusalem Post, 2002.07.16, p. 9).
‘Palestinian’ State Already Up for Vote – With a population that is already 52% ‘Palestinian,’ and even has a ‘Palestinian’ queen, all Jordanian ‘Palestinians’ need to do is vote and they would have their own ‘Palestinian’ state! Clearly, their own state isn’t really what ‘Palestinians’ want. It's merely a subterfuge. They could have that at any time simply by voting. No. They insist on the elimination of Israel by stages, and it is this that the rest of the Arab and Muslim world supports – with Europe and the U.N. blindly and eagerly obliging!
In Israel, by contrast, ‘Palestinians’ are a minority.
