5772.06.01, 1200 Princeton study (EurekAlert): "A mysterious region [the pulvinar] deep in the human brain could be where we sort through the onslaught of stimuli from the outside world and focus on the information most important to our behavior and survival, Princeton University researchers have found. … the pulvinar regulates communication between clusters of brain cells as our brain focuses on the people and objects that need our attention. Like a switchboard operator, the pulvinar makes sure that separate areas of the visual cortex — which processes visual information — are communicating about the same external information"
The question this fails to address, much less answer, is whether these neuron activities are the cause of cognition or its effect. Are these neuron firings self-causing, an unprecedented event in the universe? Or is there some undetected cause and the neuron activity is the effect, which cascades in subsequent causes and effects? The burden of proof for such a contradiction in the universe rests squarely on the shoulders of anyone suggesting such a contradiction to all of the other workings in the universe. No such proof has been presented. Therefore, science is forced to presume that this neuronal activity has a cause, despite being undetected so far, just like everything else in the universe.
There is no evidence whatsoever, and no experiment thus far, that can, in any way, address or distinguish between cause and effect of neuron behavior relative to cognition. Is the physical, dimensional, neuron behavior all there is? A self-causing anomaly? Non-physical and non-dimensional cognition doesn't exist even though we experience it constantly? Computers similarly experience cognition from firing of electrons in circuits? What scientist argues against killing our computers every evening? Our universe never began? Simply Poof? Brain activity simply self-causes? Poof again? There is, to date, absolutely no explanation that even remotely addresses how either the physical can act on the non-physical, or vice-versa. There is no known or understood connection between the two. Yet, we know that the universe is physical and dimensional while concepts and our thoughts and our cognition is non-physical and non-dimensional. This glaring chasm is being ignored by scientists because, simply, they cannot wrap their brains around it.

Neuronal activity can only be mapped internally, within the brain. There has been no experiment, discussed in any of the literature, designed to address or detect non-physical and non-dimensional input to, or output from, the brain. Nothing has been addressed, much less measured, weighed or otherwise quantified. Attempts to quantify the non-dimensional is ghost hunting, not science. There is, to date, no credible scientific connection between physical cause and non-physical effect, or vice-versa. No one disputes, however, that there is some working connection that can neither be entirely physical or entirely non-physical.
That the non-dimensional "we" operate our respective physical bodies, and, conversely, our physical body imparts non-dimensional transcendings of our 5 senses to our non-dimensional "self," demonstrates that some 2-way bridge operates – transcends and transceives – between these two disparate domains. A priori, there exists some yet unknown transcender-antenna function operating between the non-dimensional domain of thought and concept (and Creator-Singularity,
This is the only hypothesis to date that agrees, in all respects, with what we all, each, perceive and experience at all times: both physical and non-physical. No other hypotheses accounts, in any way, this disparity between the physical (neuronal) and the cognitive (spiritual).
Upward: Physical to non-physical transcending – All of the universe, and all of whatever non-physical and non-dimensional else there may be, is experienced through, and only through, the six senses bottleneck in our brain – our CPU or cognitions processor; so incomprehensible to date that we might as well call it our "flux cognicitor."
This implies [a] that it is only possible for a person to perceive of the universe what his or her body-avatar in the physical universe is equipped to sense (perceive) and transmit, through the brain (and pulvinar), to our non-physical cognition for further processing, [b] that, by definition, our ðÆôÆùÑ and øåÌçÇ are not limited by these physical constraints, and
Downward: Non-physical to physical transceiving – what our cognitions perceive in the non-physical / non-dimensional domain is bottlenecked at our physical brain.
Have you ever known something (conceptually, in thought = non-physically and non-dimensionally) but you were unable to express it in words (physically – i.e., in language dictated by physical constraints: physical vocalizations, sound waves, etc.)? Is this lack of vocabulary? Sometimes, you can feel, perceive, exactly what it is – but you cannot translate into physical language; sometimes it exceeds what words can express. Other times, you may perceive something from another person, or even an animal, that isn't expressed in words or body language (i.e., visual sense).
These would seem to indicate that our non-physical capabilities exceed the bandwidth of our brain / CPU-transcender. I can think my way (imagine) high-jumping 3 meters and more, pole-vaulting 100 meters, running the 100 meters in under a nanosecond, or being instantly on a planet at the other end of the universe without traveling in between, unbridled by the speed of light, and with no need to breath or be concerned about temperature or other physical considerations – but I cannot translate my cognitive ability downward successfully to translate these capabilities in my body-avatar. Everything from Spiderman to Superman evidences that many people cognitively exceed the bandwidth of any body-avatar. It's the rule, not the exception. The person is more than the avatar and its physical CPU.
In other words, only what goes through the brain can emanate from the physical body upward or be downward-processed in the physical body.
The disparity between the avatar and the cognitive person implies a 2-way transcender-transceiver to communicate on a constant basis (thoughts by day, dreams by night) between the avatar universe and the cognitive domain.
There is a further suggestion: that while our physical body-avatar is confined exclusively to a physical universe, "we" – the entire population of our cognitive "selves" throughout history – dwell, now, in the non-physical and non-dimensional domain, as does our Creator-Singularity,
Nevertheless, though all of our cognitions / spirits appear to exist in the same non-dimensional domain, intercommunications within the non-dimensional domain (cognition-to-cognition, spirit-to-spirit, clairvoyance) defies the physical bottleneck constraints of our brain and avatar. Perhaps we can perceive a presence or a feeling of another in the non-physical domain; but not in words (language) or sounds or sights or touch or taste or smell – all of which are exclusively physical. Non-dimensional communications (i.e., not pipelined through physical brains and avatars) seem to be limited, or denied, to us — with the single exception of the non-physical communication that the experience of millennia has demonstrated: úÌÀôÄìÌÈä exclusively from each of us to and from the Creator-Singularity,
Except for this transcender-transceiver hypothesis, all other scientific theories of cognition are internally contradictory in one or more of the above respects. If this transcender-transceiver hypothesis continues as the best-of-breed explanation for our conceptual-physical connection, then the brain, or some part(s) of it, behave as an antenna, transcending and transceiving concepts between these two disparate domains.
Since scientists cannot (so far) isolate and detect concepts distinguished from their neuronal effect, neither can scientists (so far) isolate or detect any antenna function in the brain as distinguished from thought and cognition. Indeed, since the conceptual domain exists experientially but undetectably, one should expect any transcender-transceiver, and its antenna function, to likewise be experiential (it somehow works) but remains undetectable. Detect the conceptual domain (weigh dimensionless-mass and measure its dimensionless-sides and dimensionless-energy) and the transcender-transceiver and antenna operators that interact with it become evident. Scientists have discovered, and are confident they have proven, certain things in science to be unknowable to us. I think they're correct in at least some of the cases. (I've seen some scientific proofs later disproven.) This, IMO, is likely to be, and remain, one of them.
Still, we don't yet know the limits of non-dimensional intercommunication. It does work and perhaps we can learn new and so-far unimagined capabilities. I've set forth at least that physical parameters, by definition, are not the operators in the non-dimensional domain; and therefore, not constraints to cognitive abilities separate from physical constraints. That is at least some direction in contrast to quacks who claim to speak in tongues, have messages in glossolalia, relay messages from the dead in language, or ghost hunters who depend upon physical devices to attempt to detect heat changes, sound waves and images of ghosts, those who purport to hear voices of the dead, generate "supernatural" noises, initiate healings and all of the other quackery exposed in the book, The Faith Healers by former stage magician James Randi.
