מר יבכיון (mar yi•vәkâ•yun′ ; bitterly he cried), εκλαυσεν πικρως (eklausen pikros; he wailed bitterly) secundum the LXX ⇒ MT correspondence (viz. Yәsha•yâh′ u 22.4 & 33.7) and all of the earliest extant source mss., respectively. EB reads ובכה במרירות נפשו (u-vâkh•oh′ bә-mәrir•ut′ na•phәsh•o′ ; and crying in bitterness of his nëph′ ësh).
