While scholars debate the provenance of the original accounts upon which the earliest extant (4^th century C.E., even fragments are post-135 C.E.), Hellenist Roman gentile, Hellenist-redacted versions were based, there is not one fragment, not even one letter of the Διαθηκη Καινη (NT) that derives DIRECTLY from the 1^st-century Pharisee Jews who followed the Pharisee RibꞋi Yᵊho•shuꞋa.

Historians like the eminent late Oxford scholar, James Parkes (The Conflict of the Church and the Synagogue, A Study in the Origins of Anti-Semitism) have demonstrated incontestably that 4^th-century Roman Hellenism-Christianity was the 180° polar antithesis of 1^st-century Judaism of ALL Pharisee RibꞋis. The earliest (post-135 C.E.) true Christians were viciously antinomian (ANTI-Tor•âhꞋ, miso-Judaic), claiming to supersede and displace Tor•âhꞋ, Judaism and ("spiritual) Israel and Jews. In soberest terms, ORIGINAL, Hellenist-Christianity was anti-Tor•âhꞋ from the start while DSS (viz., (4Q) MMT (Mi•qᵊtz•atꞋ Ma•as•ëh′ ha-Tor•âh′)) and ALL other Judaic documentation PROVE that ALL 1^st-century Pharisees were PRO-Tor•âhꞋ.

Original Christianity = ANTI-Tor•âhꞋ Hellenist idolatry. RibꞋi Yᵊho•shuꞋa and his Nᵊtzâr•imꞋ, like all other Pharisees, were PRO-Tor•âhꞋ. Intractable contradiction.

Adapting a Roman-Hellenist version – an image-idol – from Hellenist hearsay accounts, decades after the death of the 1^st-century Pharisee RibꞋi, and after a forcible ouster, by Hellenist Roman gentiles, of his original Jewish followers (135 C.E., documented by Eusebius), based on writings of a Hellenist Jew excised as an apostate by the original Jewish followers (documented by Eusebius) is circular reasoning through gentile-Roman – idolatrous Hellenist – lenses.

"Historical Jesus" is an intractable oxymoron. Pursuit of a quest for an oxymoron guarantees failure.

What the historical Pharisee RibꞋi taught is found not in the hearsay accounts of post-135 C.E. Hellenist Roman assimilated Jews or gentiles but, rather, in the Judaic descriptions of Pharisees and Pharisee RibꞋis of the period… for example, in Dead Sea Scroll (4Q) MMT (Mi•qᵊtz•atꞋ Ma•as•ëh′ ha-Tor•âh′) (see Prof. Elisha Qimron), inter alia.

The question is, when you can no longer avoid the most basic historical truths, will you follow the authentic historical RibꞋi or the post-135 C.E. Roman-redacted, Hellenist-idol antithesis—the antichrist?
