Shalom Todah for all the information on this website. I have learnt so much from it. I am just getting the books for the Netzarim Khavruta course. I hope to go on the course soon and become a geirah. I have told other people about the Netzarim and my Nan also wants to become a geirah. Everyone else I have told don't believe me. I have discovered that no matter how much proof most Xtians or Muslims are given, they will still believe their same old anti Torah beliefs and explain the historical facts they are given as lies. They just assume the religion they have been brought up with is true and discard all the historical evidence as errors.

Just a few questions, do you think we would be allowed in any beit kneset or would it have to be a Yemenite synagogue? Do the Ashkenazim and Sephardim accept Netzarim into their beit knesets? The nearest Yemenite beit kneset is in London, but we do have an Ashkenazim synagogue 20 miles away.

Also, here in England there is not much food certified kosher at the supermarkets or eating out! Would we be able to eat out if we knew the food was kosher or won't it be kosher if it is cooked on the same grill/fryer as non kosher food??

Kol ha-kâ•vod to you and your Nan. (Is that grandmother?)

I've dealt with thousands of people like you describe, who defy documentation, history, archeology, facts – and the real world, in order to maintain their present "faith structure." In my experience, it's overwhelmingly due to peer pressure. Although they don't realize it, they follow (worship) peer pressure, not י--ה; following what their peers tell them and their peers do, 100%. Placing one's peers, friends and social pressures, above י--ה is a•vod•âh zâr•âh. How popular a•vod•âh zâr•âh remains despite millennia of warning in Tor•âhMah la-aSOT? (What can ya do?)

You must learn to spread a wide net to find and help the rare few exceptions, like yourself, instead of investing that time and effort in lemmings who lack rational eyes and ears – and you'll also find your life a lot easier as a side benefit.

Over the past couple of decades, Orthodox Judaism has undergone a tectonic change in the direction of extremism that leaves moderates behind – Ultra-Orthodox (Kha•reid•im) radicalism / extremism / fanaticism. It seems that, everyday, there is yet another new change toward that radicalism. They remind me of the Muslim Taliban with much more limited violence – so far. The worst part is that they intimidate moderate Orthodox rabbis and moderate Orthodox Jews. So the answer to your question is, these days, probably the only Bât•ei ha-kᵊnësët that may accept Nᵊtzâr•im, depending on which location, might be the Tei•mân•im, Modern Orthodox or, where neither of these are available, perhaps Khab"d. Other denominations of Orthodoxy are more likely to be infused with the new radicalism in which elitism reigns, to be charitable, typically manifests keen distrust of, and often open disdain for, gentiles – regarding them as "shabbos goyim." With the exceptions of Tei•mân•i and Modern Orthodox (and, outside of Israel, even these can be elitist and unwelcoming to non-Jews), I recommend avoiding such and, instead, get started building an independent local study and prayer group under Nᵊtzâr•im supervision. Mah la-aSOT? (What can ya do?)

The Ha•lâkh•âh of ka•shᵊr•ut is too complex to cover here. It is covered in our free, on-line, Kha•vᵊr•utâ course. Basically, meat and prepared or packaged products (including canned, etc.), even many vegetables (in which prohibited products are added in the ingredients), are not kâ•sheir unless certified as such. The same is true of restaurants, etc. On the other hand, eating kâ•sheir is no more difficult for you than it is for the many Jews who live in England. Mah la-aSOT? (What can ya do?)
