You are right. I won't ask you anymore questions until I have completed the Khavruta course. I have enough funds to get the other 4 books I ened for the course. I am really looking forward to becoming a geirah! I won't waste time on people who ignore historical facts anymore ( some of them can be quite nasty as you obviously know ).
I just want to make something clear. I do have an understanding of Orthodox Judaism as I have strongly researched, that's how I have come to find this site! I know what Orthodox Jews believe and I don't believe NO Xtian doctrines anymore! I haven't had Xtian beliefs for over a year. I have NEVER believed in the fake Xtian '' speaking in tongues '' and I don't believe my dreams tell me what to do or give me advice. In fact, when I was an Xtian, people hated me because I told them about my dreams because my dreams contradicted the pagan church doctrines and they said "You are not Jewish Sophie" They said I was talking rubbish when I said Gentiles should observe Torah.
What I do believe ( and know ) is that Hashem is the only Elohim and I know Torah is true, I have looked into many religions and it is obvious that Torah is true!
I also know that these dreams I have been having have happened on the same dates over 300 times. I believe Hashem does give people information before it happens. Surely, there are examples of this in the Tanakh. Do you agree?
I must also make something clear: perhaps you know more about Orthodox Judaism than the other Christians in your gentile Christian circles, but, relative to our circle of Orthodox Israeli Jews, so far, I've seen no evidence that you can even read the first word of Tor•âhꞋ. Do you even know øçîéí from äáãìä, or îìàëä from òáåãä æøä, or úìîéã from úìîåã? At this point, I don't even know if you're still using a counterfeit Christian "Bible." So I'm concerned that you seem to be trying to jump into the deep end of the pool without first learning how to swim – perhaps even carrying anchors that you believe in and would like us to attach to.
All kinds of people seem to get information before it happens, not all of whom receive it from é--ä. Inter alia, Shâ•ulꞋ ha-MëlꞋëkh sought information before it happened from a áÌÇòÂìÇú àåÉá in òÅéï ãÌåÉø (vid. Shᵊmu•eilꞋ ÂlꞋëph 28). There are Indian gurus, Christian financial seers and others who do the same. For an insight how these shamans achieve their magic– using the same trickery as an Israeli magicians' circle of Ultra-Orthodox / Haredi seer-rabbis (if they object, let them accept retired magician James Randi's million dollar challenge) – read the book, "The Faith Healers" by James "the Amazing" Randi.
These hucksters' methods are the same, or offspring of, the methods described by Randi; and the same as mentalists like the entertainer "the Amazing Kreskin" and the more blatant fraud (exposed by the late Johnny Carson, inter alia), Uri Geller. Entertainment is one thing; attempts to generate belief in supernatural magic is hucksterism. I suspect Israel's "circle" of Ultra-Orthodox / Kha•reid•imꞋ magician-rabbis were tutored either by fellow-Israeli Jew Uri Geller or someone like him. Their success demonstrates how superstitious Jewish business people are – quite opposite from the misojudaic world's stereotyping, have learned nothing from the Madoff affair. Honest business dealings of Tor•âhꞋ have no business with huckstering.
So how does one discern what is from é--ä?
Tor•âhꞋ issued clear instruction: Dᵊvâr•imꞋ 13.1-6. Pay special attention to the phrase in v.3 often overlooked by Christians: "and [even if] the sign or wonder comes [to pass]…"!!!
Of course, if any seer's prophecies fail to come to pass, even one, then the "seer" is false and clearly not from é--ä – Who does not make mistakes. Just one error. You seem to be skating recklessly on thin ice.
So if the dreams are true they are personal – for you only, no one else – and no more than a test to see where you place your faith. I've had at least two inexplicable experiences myself, at least one of which I've recounted in our website. At the time of the last occurrence (the first was when I was a child), I had searched among eminent scholars, seminarians and Jews; there was no one on the entire earth who could disprove, correct, confirm or corroborate for me what I had discovered. (This website demonstrates that is no longer the case – or cause of a valid occurrence.) But my account of these personal confirmations are no more than personal testimony (not prophesying) that others may accept or reject as they like; not any kind of proof.
On the other hand, if even one dream is false then they are not from é--ä and not to be relied upon. (For a scholarly and realistic approach to understanding dreams, see my articles on the subconscious and the soul; search keyword: neuroscience, in our Web Café Archives Center.)
By contrast, how "coincidental" is it that, exactly when it's convenient corroboration for me at the very time I'm instructing you about it, there simultaneously just happens (2012.07.21) to appear an article in Israeli ynetnews.com about Ultra-Orthodox / Haredi seer-rabbis who charge money and have become rich seeming to provide pre-knowledge of what will happen? That's é--ä operating, and how He operates – Providential placement & timing – leaving it to the observer to decide: Providence or coincidence? – with no tricks or illusions involved.
In the Christian world, Christians have an unbridled, deathly fear of "the [un]holy spirit". And charismatics shrewdly claim that their "gifts" are from "the [un]holy spirit". So the Christian masses don't dare question "the [un]holy spirit" in their "healers" and other Christians manifesting the "gifts" of "the [un]holy spirit" – because blaspheming the "the [un]holy spirit" is the one and only "unforgivable sin." Consequently, Christians are cowed by their superstition and fear of the supernatural into accepting such claims as fact and a working premise.
The Jewish community is based on the beit din system, not, lᵊ-ha•vᵊdilꞋ, on "the leading" of some unholy demon. Consequently, in the world of Tor•âhꞋ, you must first document for the beit din your entire itemized list of 300+ dreams, each with its corresponding date and witnesses or other documentation that would be recognized by scholars or a court of law.
Failing that, you must abandon involvement in dreams and focus, instead, whole-heartedly on Tor•âhꞋ (instead of part-dreams and part-Tor•âhꞋ) – and learn and implement the basics of Tor•âhꞋ in your life practice before attempting to take on advanced things that could spiritually drown you because of your ignorance of Tor•âhꞋ. At this point, I don't think you have the knowledge that I could even explain to you the essential and pertinent teaching about a áú ÷åì. Does your claimed "strongly researched… understanding of Orthodox Judaism" include that? Perhaps you were regarded as a seer in the Christian world. But, in our world, a gentile "seer"…
You seem to know a lot about certain Christian topics and issues. But I haven't yet seen any appreciable knowledge of Tor•âhꞋ from you, and this is the world you're trying to enter – but it appears that you can't even read the map yet. Carrying your "old, Christian, world" or some of its baggage with you? Certainly not! Yet, I doubt that, at this early point, you even know what doctrines Christians must renounce and leave behind in order to follow Tor•âhꞋ. If you have the eyes to see, then focus them instead on Tor•âhꞋ – and complete the Kha•vᵊr•utꞋâ before attempting to delve into (much less claim) advanced topics.
I've gently recommended this before. At this point, trying to protect you from becoming a victim of overconfidence in what may be a•vod•âhꞋ zâr•âhꞋ, I politely, but firmly, insist: no more arguments disguised as questions until you've absorbed the basic knowledge and Tor•âhꞋ education in our Kha•vᵊr•utꞋâ. Until you absorb this basic Tor•âhꞋ knowledge you lack the education to question and discuss such things with those who study Tor•âhꞋ. To state it clearly: I'm not convinced that you yet know enough about Tor•âhꞋ to understand the answers to such advanced questions. I worry that continued discussion would only motivate you to argue more, and dig yourself deeper, instead of learning Tor•âhꞋ in the Kha•vᵊr•utꞋâ. If you insist on doing things "àçøé ìááëí åàçøé òéðéëí" (Orthodox Judaism, so you do understand, right?) then this isn't the place for you. I hope you'll quietly complete the essential Tor•âhꞋ education in our Kha•vᵊr•utꞋâ. Then, after even more advanced Tor•âhꞋ studies, we can discuss such things.
